1.2. Specific safety instructions

- Keep your work area clean at all times and remove fallen wood debris.
- Please note that wood is a natural raw material and can go haywire when splitting
(pieces of wood breaking off unexpectedly).
- Keep hands clear of the face of the wood or the entrance of the splitting wedge at all
times.
- The faces of the split wood should be rectangular, if possible, so that the wood remains
secure on the support table and does not slide to one side.
- Safety devices on the product must not be dismantled or put out of service.
- Remove wood, wood debris and bark from the product workplace.
- Check whether two-hand operation works properly before operating the product.
- Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry of any kind as they may become caught or
snagged. Wear safety clothing and tie long hair.
- Pay special attention during use. There is a risk of injury to fingers and hands due to
the breaker.
- Use a suitable supporting tool for breaking heavy or large pieces.
- All protective and safety equipment must be reinstalled immediately after completion
of repair and maintenance.
