Setting up a master slave chain

The fog machine can be operated controlled by a DMX controller or in a master slave chain. In that case, the inte-
grated controller of the master device controls the connected slave devices.
Connect the DMX OUT port of the master device to the DMX IN port of the first slave device.
Connect the DMX OUT port of the first slave device to the DMX IN port of the subsequent slave device.
Proceed as described above with all remaining slave devices.
Plug an XLR plug with a terminating resistor into the DMX OUT connection of the last slave device (as described
in section „Connection of a DMX controller").
11 Operation
Always pull the mains plug before filling the fog machine.
Never fill the machine with flammable liquids or add these to the fog liquid.
Never tilt the fog machine. Fog liquid may leak out or enter the inside of the device, cause damage
there or injure the operator.
Make sure that no liquid enters the internal workings of the device when you are filling it with fog
liquid. This can lead to damage to the device and can cause deadly electrical shocks.
If, after the fog machine is mounted, the mains plug is not accessible anymore or if it is accessible
but with difficulty, the voltage supply must be separated from the mains via an all-pole switch.
Do not leave cables lying or hanging around; instead, install them in an expert manner to prevent
accidents.
Fog liquids

Only use suitable fog liquids. Never use dirty fog liquids.
Always close the tank and the reservoir for your fog liquid right after filling.
Operating

Ensure that the mains plug is not plugged in.
Unscrew the tank cover from the device and fill fog liquid into the tank. The liquid level must be between the LOW
and FULL marks at all times in operation.
Then screw on the tank closure lid again.
Plug the mains plug into a mains socket with a protective ground contact.
Switch on the device with the mains switch. With the device on, the mains switch lights up and the fog machine
heats up.
Heating up takes approx. 2 minutes. During heating up, the display indicates UP.
Once the device has reached its operating temperature and is ready for operation, the display at the fog machine
shows reAd.
Make sure that the tank never runs empty during fogging. If this happens despite your best efforts, remove the fog
machine from the power supply immediately and allow it to cool then refill the tank.
If no fog emerges, the device is still warming up or re-heating.
A slight continuation of fogging when the device is switched off or after unplugging is normal and does not indicate
a defect.
If you no longer require the device, remove the mains plug and let the device cool down.
Empty the tank if you are not going to use the device for a longer period. This prevents leaking of the fog liquid
during transport or storage.
