Do not touch the mains cable if it is damaged.
– First, power down the respective mains socket (e.g. via the respective circuit breaker) and then carefully pull
the mains plug from the mains socket.
– Never use the product if the mains cable is damaged.
A damaged mains cable may only be replaced by the manufacturer, a workshop commissioned by the manufac-
turer or a similarly qualified person, so as to prevent any danger.
Ensure that cables are not pinched, kinked or damaged by sharp edges.
Always lay cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them. This poses a risk of injury.
8 Product Description
The fog machine is suitable for use at parties, in discotheques, in bars or at theatre plays.
The fog achieves impressive effects that can be increased by use of coloured spotlights, lasers or stroboscopes.

9 Set-Up
To ensure that the device is set up correctly, do not fail to read through these operating instructions
including the safety instructions thoroughly and attentively before use.
Check the device for damage before using it for the first time. If the device is damaged, do not oper-
ate it and consult an expert or our service team.
9.1 Installation/Setup
Installation of the device must be carried out by a specialist familiar with the hazards and the relevant regulations.
Maintenance, operation and commissioning of this device must only be carried out by qualified persons.
Important:
Acceptance test (in case of industrial/public use):
– Before first use and after any significant modifications, the installation (including the electrical connections)
must be checked by a specialist.
– A yearly check by a technical expert is necessary.
– At least every four years, a quality inspection must be carried out by a technical expert.
When choosing a location for your device, make sure to avoid impact, vibration, dust, hot and cold temperatures
and dampness. Furthermore, no powerful transformers or motors must be used close to the device.
When setting up the device, make sure that the power cord is not crushed and cannot be damaged by any sharp
edges.
Never operate the device on flammable surfaces or close to flammable objects. Always keep a distance of at least
0.5 m to flammable objects.
Observe that the fog exit opening is not pointed at persons, animals or open flame. The escaping hot steam may
