Problem

tween the controller and tool.

dervoltage is not set to the mini-

fastening sequence, e.g., for

Possible cause
The IP address of the tool is not
correctly entered in the controller.
Tool is already assigned to an-
other controller.
IP address already exists in the
network. In this case, the tool will
not establish a connection.
Distance between the access point
and the tool is too great.

Measure
Parameterize the tool light on the control-
ler screen: Navigator> Advanced > Tool
Group > Extended Tool Settings.
► To activate the work light:
► Activate the control menu:
► Use a fully charged battery.
► Use fully charged battery.
► Reduce the Undervoltage (V) on the con-
trol screen: Navigator > Tool Setup > Tool
Settings > Others > Low Level [V].
► To set the warning threshold:
If a high torque is needed for a longer period of
time, e.g., for several turns, the number of run-
downs that can be achieved with one battery
charge will be significantly reduced.
After 800 charging cycles, the capacity is re-
duced to approx. 60%.

Measure

Check on the control screen: Navigator >
Tool Setup, whether the IP address of the
tool has been entered in the box Type.

Otherwise, mark the line and <Edit>.
IP address of tool – see Tool in submenu
WLAN communication.
► Check the WLAN settings and make sure
that the WLAN settings for the controllers
are different.
Applies only to WLAN infrastructure custom-
ers:
► Check whether another controller already
has a connection to this tool. In other
words, another controller is using the
same IP address.
► Check the physical connection (RSSI val-
ues):

► Check the assigned IP address.

menu Signal Strength:

If necessary, reduce the distance between
the access point and the tool.
