Reset the sensor
- Todo this, pressthe reset button (10) nextto the battery compartmentwith a pointedobject(e.g.
openpaper clip) for 3 s.
- Then,take the batteries out of the battery compartmentand insert them again after approx.one
minute. Duringthis time, also cover the solar cell (7),e.g. with a dark cloth.
- Reinsertthe batteries,removethe cover from the solar cell and check that it starts properly -
the LEDindicator must light up permanentlyfor approx.4 s and then light up briefly with each
transmission process(approx.every 16 s).
Note:
If the combi sensorwas previouslysynchronizedwith the basestation, this synchronizationmust
be carried out again after a reset, seechapter 5.1.
Mount the combi
- A mast with a diameter between 25 and 50 mm and a flat top is to be used
(the mast is not includedin the scopeof delivery).
- Beforemountingthe combi sensoron the mast,synchronizeit with the basestation as described
in the following section5.1. Forthis purpose,a distanceof approx.3 m betweenthe basestation
and the combi sensor should be maintained in order to achieve reliable synchronization.
- Attach the mast to a suitable support.
- Place the combi sensor with the mast shafts on the mast and initially fasten the sensor by hand-
tightening the nuts. Make surethat the mast headis seatedin the recessprovidedby the sensor.
- Checkthe exact alignment of the sensoragain accordingto the directional imprint and the level
(importantfor rain and wind direction display).Followingthis, tighten the nuts of the mast lights
