The operating instructions for the complete machine in accordance with Machinery
Directive 2006/42/EC are binding for the linear unit as part of a complete machine.
6.4 Maintenance
All linear units are provided with the required amount of lubricants ex-factory. The maintenan-
ce intervals are determined by the number of operating hours, loads and ambient influences.
◼ Trapezoidal screw: MOLYKOTE EM-50L
Recommended lubricant for:
- The spindles are lubricated directly on the spindle
- Lubricating interval: every 200-500 operating hours (depending on the number of
operating hours, loads and ambient influences)
◼ Ball screw: DYNALUB 510
- The spindles are lubricated via the grease nipple (⮱ „Figure 9 - Grease nipple on EPX-II
BGR 30 with Ball screw drive" on page 55)
- Lubricating interval: every 200-500 operating hours (depending on the number of
operating hours, loads and ambient influences)

Note!
Before starting any work on the linear unit, any electric drives used
must be prevented from accidental switching on.
