9.1
Intended use
The appliance is intended for household use. If the appliance is misused or operated
incorrectly, the manufacturer accepts no liability for any damage.
•
For safety reasons, modifications or alterations to the appliance are not
permitted.
•
Only dry textiles that are suitable for tumble drying. Observe the care labels on
the textile labels.
•
Do not dry unwashed laundry in the appliance.
•
Never use the tumble dryer if the power cable, the control panel or the base is
damaged so that the inside of the appliance is exposed.
•
Only use fabric softener or similar products in accordance with the
manufacturer's instructions.
•
Any use outside these areas of application is not in accordance with the
intended use and is therefore considered improper use.
9.2 General safety instructions
•
Always switch the appliance off after use.
•
In the case of an emergency, switch off the fuse immediately.
•
Transport the appliance only in the original packaging materials to avoid any
personal injury and/or material damage.
•
Install and connect the appliance only in accordance with the description in the
instruction manual.
•
In an emergency, pull the plug out of the plug socket immediately.
•
Cable cross-section must be sufficient.
•
The mains plug and socket must match.
•
Make sure that you do not exceed the recommended maximum amount.
•
Do not use the appliance to dry textiles that have recently been treated with
chemical cleaning agents (e.g. white spirit, stain remover). Explosion hazard!
First air the laundry for some time. The appliance is intended exclusively for
laundry that has been washed with water.
•
Never use the appliance if you think it is damaged in any way. Under no
circumstances should you attempt to repair the appliance yourself.
WARNING
This appliance is intended for domestic use only.
•
Only place recommended items in the appliance.
•
Connect the appliance to an AC earthed socket outlet in accordance with the
regulations, otherwise safety cannot be guaranteed.
•
Only have the appliance serviced by an authorised service station. Only use
original spare parts.
•
Unplug the appliance after each use. Always unplug the device if it is to be left
unattended for long periods.
(e.g. on weekends, holidays, etc.)
•
The back of the appliance becomes hot during operation. Position the device so
that the back cannot be touched during operation.
•
During installation, position the appliance so that the plug can be reached.
•
The label on the back of the appliance indicates that the surface is hot during ,
operation.
