Start up

Read the security advices on page 12!

Remove the two transport locking screws at the bottom of the Performer s900.
Keep the transport locking screws safe. For transport screw the transport locking screws back in.

Make sure that the selected mains voltage of the Performer s900 is according to the mains-
voltage of your region.

Make sure that the mains switch on the rear of the Performer s900 is set to Off (Off = O / On = I).

Connect the supplied power cord to the Performer s900 and to an appropriate mains socket
outlet. Be sure to connect the device to a main socket outlet with a protective grounding
connection!
If the supplied power cord does not match your mains socket outlet, please contact your dealer.

Turn off all devices you wish to connect to the Performer s900.

If you own an SPL device supporting AMP CTL output(s) you can trigger standby and operation.
Therefore connect the AMP CTL output of the SPL device with a mono mini jack cable to the AMP
CTL input of the Performer s900.
Mini jack cable is not included in the scope of delivery. You may also use other 12V trigger controller.
The Performer s1200 is in operation mode when a switching voltage of 12 Volt DC is applied to
the AMP CTL input. As soon as the 12 Volt DC is removed, the Performer s900 switches back to
standby mode.
Use a mini jack cable where the tip is plus and the sleeve is minus.
8 Connect the outputs of your preamplifier to the inputs (INPUT) of the Performer s900.
Please use appropriate audio cables (XLR or RCA).
Audio cables are not included in the scope of delivery.

Connect the Performer s900 with speaker cables to your speakers.
Speaker cables are not included in the scope of delivery.
