VIA™ cups are pre-sterilised for immediate use. Re-sterilise cups, lids and adaptors
before each subsequent use so they can be used again. We recommend using VIA
cups several times and to discard when showing signs of wear and tear. Expressed
breast milk can be stored in the fridge for up to 48 hours (not in the door) or freezer
for up to 3 months. Never refreeze breast milk or add fresh breast milk to already
frozen milk. Food can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours or freezer for up to
2 months. Label the content and date using a marker or pencil. VIA has twist on lids
to provide leakproof storage and transport.

Never use feeding teats as a soother.
Continuous and prolonged
•

sucking of fluids will cause tooth decay.

Always check food temperature before
feeding.
•
Keep all components not in use out of the reach of children.
•
Before
each use, inspect the product. Throw away at the first sign of damage or weakness.
•
During inspection of teats pull the feeding teat in all directions.
•
DO NOT leave a
feeding teat in direct sunlight or heat, or leave in disinfectant ("sterilising solution")
for longer than recommended, as this may weaken the teat.
Before first use place
•
in boiling water for 5 minutes. This is to ensure hygiene.
•
Clean before each use by
taking all items apart, washing and rinsing thoroughly. Sterilise using an AVENT
Steam Steriliser or boil for five minutes.
•
DO NOT use abrasive cleaning agents or
antibacterial cleaners. Excessive concentration of detergents may eventually cause
plastic components to crack. Should this occur, replace immediately.
Dishwasher
•
safe – food colourings may discolour components.
•
For hygiene reasons, we
recommend replacing teats/spouts after 3 months.
Avoid placing unnecessary
•
pressure when lids are in place.
The content will heat faster in VIA cups than in
•
standard feeding bottles/containers.
•
DO NOT warm contents in a microwave oven
as this may cause uneven heating and could scald your baby.
Always assemble teats
•
when wet. Keep teats in a dry, covered container.
•
VIA is suitable for all methods of
sterilisation.
•
Wash your hands thoroughly and ensure surfaces are clean before
contact with sterilised components.
DO NOT allow child to play with small parts
•
or walk/run while using bottles or cups.
•
Spoon is suitable for use 6+ months.
