Recording of audio CDs to SD cards or USB data carriers
• Activate the CD operating mode.
• Insert a USB data carrier into the USB interface (15) or an SD card onto the SD card reader (18).
• Press the REC/DEL button (13). The data carrier is read and is ready after a few seconds. "REC" will first
appear in the display followed by "ONE" a few seconds later.
• Press REC/DEL (13) again if you only want to record the current track. Recording will start after a few
seconds.
• If you want to record all tracks on the CD, select "ALL" with the

• If a USB data carrier as well as an SD card is inserted, select the desired recording medium while the
corresponding symbols is flashing in the display using the

• The display shows "END" when the recording is complete.
The recording takes place in real-time.
The recording creates MP3 files with a bit rate of 128 kbit/s.
Short delays may occur between the individual operating steps as the data carrier must be read
first. The reading time is dependent on the size and the response time of the data carrier. During
this time, "WAI" is shown in the display.
Copying of MP3 files to CDs, SD cards or USB data carriers
When copying MP3 files, you can select whether only one files, one folder or all files are to be copied.
Copying of individual files or all files:
• Activate the operating mode from which you want to copy.
• Press the REC/DEL button (13). The data carrier is read and is ready after a few seconds. "REC" will first
appear in the display followed by "ONE" a few seconds later.
• Press REC/DEL (13) again if you only want to copy the current track. Copying will start after a few sec-
onds.
• If you want to copy all tracks, select "ALL" with the
REC/DEL (13) again. Copying will start after a few seconds.
• If a USB data carrier as well as an SD card is inserted when copying a CD, select the desired recording
medium while the corresponding symbols is flashing in the display using the
knob (23); then press the REC/DEL button (13) again. Copying will start after a few seconds.
• To stop copying early, press the H button (17) or the REC/DEL button (13).
• The display shows "END" when copying is complete.
