Take care to ensure that:

 the device is not placed on a thick carpet or bed during

 the device is not hanging or standing in the immediate vicinity of
strong magnetic fields (e.g., loudspeakers);
 no impurities or dust can enter the device;
 candles and other open flames are kept away from the device at
all times to prevent the spread of fire.
