Hanging or setting up the wireless outdoor
sensor securely
Place the sensor so that it is protected from direct weather
influences, e.g., under a canopy or carport. The sensor has
protection class IPX4 and is therefore protected against splashing
water.
Fold out the stand (27) to set up the outdoor sensor securely.
Use the supplied dowel and screw for wall mounting. Before fixing
to the wall, make sure that there are no gas, water or electricity
lines at the drilling location. Note the condition of the wall. The
enclosed fastening material is not suitable for all types of wall.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by
improper fastening.
Protect sensitive surfaces before setting up, as otherwise scratches
can occur. Take care to ensure that:
 the wireless outdoor sensor is standing or hanging upright;
 adequate ventilation is always guaranteed (leave at least 10 cm
of space on all sides);
 no direct sunlight hits the wireless outdoor sensor;
 the wireless outdoor sensor is not hanging or standing in the
immediate vicinity of magnetic fields (e.g., loudspeakers);
 no foreign bodies or dust enter the device; and
 sensitive surfaces are protected before installation.
