• The log splitter must only be operated by persons who are rested and in good shape. If
the work is exhausting remember to take breaks on a regular basis. Never use the ma-

• Always disconnect the power of the log splitter before performing service or replacing
parts.
• Before start always check that bolts and nuts are fastened.
• Never try to split logs larger than the recommended log size capacity. Logs must be
free from nails or wires, which may fly up or damage the machine. The log must be cut
square in the end and remove also all branches from the trunk. Always cut the log in di-
rection of its grain. Do not place the log across the splitter it may damage the splitter.
• Never force the log splitter in more than 5 seconds with the cylinder under pressure
when you try to cut excessively hard wood. Overheated oil may damage the machine
under pressure. Stop the machine. Rotate the log 90 degrees and try again. If the wood
still cannot be split it means that the wood's hardness exceeds the capacity of the ma-
chine and it must be rejected in order not to damage the log splitter.
