Sie kônnen bei jedem Betriebszustand des Ge-
râtes — ohne Umweg über die STOP-Taste —
gewahlt werden. Auch hier schaltet sich das
Gerat
am
Bandende,
bzw.
bei gedrückter
Memorytaste
bei. Zählerstand
"000", auto-
matisch ab.
Das Auffinden bestimmter Bandstellen (Fein-
abstimmung auf Zahlwerknummern) wird er-
leichtert, wenn Sie bei niedergedrückter STOP-
Taste
(25)
die
betreffende
Bandlauftaste
(p> oder <4) kurzzeitig betätigen.
Die Tasten "Schneller Vorlauf" oder "Schnel-
ler Rücklauf" heben die Funktionen Start >
(21), RECORD (23) und PAUSE (19) auf.
START
Aufnahme
und Wiedergabe werden mit der
Taste > (21) gestartet.
PAUSE
Zur Aufnahmevorbereitung
sowie fiir kurz-
zeitige
Unterbrechung
von
Aufnahme
und
Wiedergabe dient die Taste PAUSE (19). Der
vorher eingestellte Betriebszustand bleibt er-
halten.
Durch nochmaliges Drucken
der Taste wird
das Band wieder gestartet.
STOP
Die STOP-Taste (25) schaltet alle gewahlten
Laufwerksfunktionen aus. Die Funktion der
Taste PAUSE bleibt erhalten.
Abschaltautomatik
Das Gerat hat eine fotoelektronische Band-
laufüberwachung,
die rückwirkungsfrei
den
Abschaltvorgang
auslôst.
Diese
Automatik
arbeitet unabhängig von Cassette und Band-
schaltfolien.
Bei
Funktionsstôrungen,
z.B.
durch
die Cassette, wird der Antrieb auto-
matisch abgeschaltet.
Mithôrkontrolle über Kopfhôrer
Bei Wiedergabe und Aufnahme kann an der
Buchse PHONES
(18) ein Stereo-Kopfhorer
mit einer Impedanz von 4 — 2000 Ohm zur

tant la touche de défilement ( gw ou < ).
La touche "Avance rapide" ou "Retour ra-
pide" suspend les fonctions start > (21), RE-
CORD (23) et PAUSE (19).
START
L'enregistrement et la lecture sont démarrés
avec la touche » (21).
PAUSE
Pour la préparation de l'enregistrement ainsi
que pour l'interruption momentanée de l'en-
registrement et de la lecture, on actionne la
touche PAUSE (19). L'état de fonctionne-
ment préalablement réglé reste maintenu.
Lorsqu'on enfonce à nouveau
la touche, la
bande redémarre.
STOP
La touche STOP (25) déclenche toutes les
fonctions sélectionnées
pour
la platine. La
fonction PAUSE reste maintenue.
Automatisme de déclenchement
L'appareil a un contrôle photo-électrique du
défilement de la bande qui entraîne l'opération
de déclenchement
sans
réaction. Cet auto-
matisme fonctionne indépendamment de la
cassette et de l'amorce de la bande. Lors de
perturbations
du fonctionnement,
par ex.
par
la
cassette,
l'entrafnement
est
auto-
matiquement arrêté.
Contrôle simultané par casque d'écoute
A la lecture et à l'enregistrement, on peut
brancher sur la prise PHONES (18) un casque
stéréo avec une impédance de 4 — 2000 ohms

Finding an exact point on the tape (corres-
ponding to a particular number on the index
counter)
is easier when the appropriate fast
wind key (pp or <4) is momentarily pressed
while the stop key (25) is also depressed.
When either the fast wind keys "fast forward"
or "fast rewind" are depressed, the start >
(21), RECORD
(23) and PAUSE (19) keys
are released.
START
Recording and replay are initiated by means
of the » (21) button.
PAUSE
The PAUSE button (19) is used for preparing
to record and stop for brief interruptions in
recording or playback. The function you have
selected is maintained when the pause button
is depressed.
Pressing the pause button once more returns
the equipment
to the preceding
mode
of
operation.
STOP
The STOP button (25) switches off all the
previously selected functions.
PAUSE func-
tion is retained.
Auto Stop
The
equipment
contains
a photoelectrical
tape monitoring
device which
initiates the
auto stop. This unit functions independentiy
of tape foil and cassette. If operational defects
such as jammed cassettes occur, the unit auto-
matically switches off the drive.
Monitoring with Headphones
The "PHONES"
jack (18) may be used for
stereo
headphones
with
an
impedance
of
4 — 2000 Ohms, for monitoring on both re-
