Engine oil specifications
Oil is a major factor affecting the performance of your machine and service life. Use 4-stroke
automotive detergent oil.
SAE 5W-30 is recommended for general use. Other viscosities oils shown in the chart may be used
when the average temperature in your area is within the recommended range.
SAE Viscosity Grades
The SA oil viscosity and service classification are in the API label on the oil container. We recommend
that you use API SERVICE Category SE or SF oil.
Spark Plug Maintenance
Check the spark plug for dirt and grime after 10 hours of operation and if necessary clean it with a
copper wire brush. Thereafter service the spark plug after every 50 hours of operation.
Recommended spark plugs: F7RTC or other equivalents.
An incorrect spark plug can cause engine damage.
