SMS settings

 Select the option "SMS Settings" in the "SMS" menu and press the left
control key "Select".
 You can choose between the following options:

"Receiving SMS"

"Send Service"

"SMS-Centre 1"

"SMS Default"
SMS reception
Under the entry "SMS-Inbox", you can define whether the telephone can
receive text messages or not.
Selecting a SMS transmission centre
In this menu, you specify which SMS centre is to be used.
 Select the option "Send Service" and press the left control key "Select".
A list of available SMS centres appears.
 Use the arrow keys to select the desired SMS centre and press the left
control key "Select".
SMS centre 1
Under the entry "SMS-Centre 1", enter the information for your network
provider's SMS centre (which you will use to send and receive text
messages). For the handset to recognise incoming messages as SMS, the
telephone number of the service centre must be entered in the handset.
 Select the option "SMS-Centre 1" and press the left control key "Select".
The display shows two memory spaces for telephone numbers; a
transmission centre number and a reception number.
