Basic functions

Switching the handset on and off
You can switch off the handset if it is not in the base
station.
 To switch off the handset, keep the call key (key
highlighted in grey on the diagram) pressed
down for a few seconds.
 The display light goes off and the handset
switches off.
 To switch the handset back on, press the call key down for a few seconds.
After a short moment, the standard display reappears on the screen.
You can also switch the handset back on by replacing it in the base station.
Answering the telephone
When there is an incoming call, you will hear a ring. You will see a
receiver symbol on the display and the phone number of the caller or
the identification number of another connected handset.
NOTE
The phone number display may vary
depending on the network provider and the
type of telephone extension, or be
unavailable.
To accept a call when the handset is in the charge
cradle on the base station, proceed as follows:
 Lift the handset out of the charge cradle on the base
station, or press the loudspeaker key to switch the telephone to
hands-free mode.
