"SMS" menu

 In the main menu, select the "SMS" option and open it with the left
control key "Select".
The following options appear:

"Write"

"Inbox"

"Outbox"

"SMS Settings"
 Select the desired option with an arrow key and press the left control key
"Select".

Writing an SMS

 Select the option "Write" in the "SMS" menu and press the left control
key "Select".
A text message can consist of up to 160 characters.
 Write your text message using the keypad.
Each number key is designated for entering several letters. The available
characters for the pressed key are shown in the bottom line of the display.
There are far more characters than are printed on the keys (special characters,
punctuation marks).
NB:
You can find a table with the available characters for each numeric
key on page 69.
Note: not all the characters from the table are displayed during
your entry. Some special characters are only available when you
edit a stored text message.
The number of remaining available characters is displayed on the
top row (e.g. "145": 15 characters of 160 are used).
