Charging the batteries

CAUTION!
ONLY CONNECT THE BASE STATION TO THE TELEPHONE
NETWORK AFTER THE HANDSET HAS BEEN COMPLETELY
CHARGED. OTHERWISE THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES WILL
NOT ACHIEVE THEIR FULL CAPACITY.
THE CHARGING TIME IS 14 HOURS.
DO NOT INTERRUPT THE CHARGING PROCESS; OTHERWISE THE
CAPACITY OF THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES COULD BE
PERMANENTLY REDUCED.
NEVER PUT THE HANDSET BACK IN THE BASE STATION WITHOUT
THE BATTERY COVER.
NB:
You can leave the handset in the base station. This ensures a
maximum charging condition.
A fully charged battery will last for 10 hours of calls, or 100 hours
of standby operation. The rechargeable battery will then have to be
recharged after that time.
