SMS settings

 In the "SMS" menu select the "Settings" option and press the right
control key "OK".
You can choose between the following options:


"SMS Centre"


"Send centre"

"New SMS alert"
SMS centre
Under "SMS centre", you enter the information for your network provider's
SMS centre (which you will use to send and receive text messages). For the
handset to recognise incoming messages as SMS, the telephone number of
the service centre must be entered in the handset.
 Select the "SMS centre 1" option and press the right control key "OK".
 To view or change the telephone number of the SMS centre, select the
corresponding memory space and press the right control key "OK".
 Using the keypad you can now enter or change the telephone number of
your SMS Centre.
 Use the left control key ("Delete") to delete the last entry.
 To exit the submenu, press the call key.

Select sending centre

In this menu, you specify which SMS centre is to be used.
 Select the "Send centre" option and press the right control key "OK".
A list of available SMS centres appears.
 Use the arrow keys to select the desired SMS centre and press the right
control key "OK".
