Commissioning
With the power switch on the front panel the LabPump will be switched on and will be connected with
the main power.
Also on the front panel operates the switch for starting the LabPump.
With the aid of the included foot switch it is possible to switch the pump on and off, as and when
required. In order to use the foot switch, it is connected to the pump instead of the mains cable. In
order to operate the pump, switch on the pump on the mains switch and start the pumping action by
using the foot switch when required.
With the turning valve knob on the front the suction rate will be setted in accordance to the symbol:
turning right is corresponding to bigger suction rate,
turning left is corresponding to lower suction rate.

- Remove the pump from the mains supply, let it cool down, find the cause for the overheating
and remove cause.
Connections or pipelines are blocked.
Liquid (condensation) has collected in the pump head.
- Operate the pump with the media air for a few minutes.
- Mount pump at the highest point of the system.
Membrane or valve plates have been worn out.
- Send in pump for repairs.
Error: Delivery volume, pressure or vacuum are too low:
Leakages at the connections, the pipelines or at the head of the pump.
Membrane or valve plates are defective or soiled.
In the event that you need to send in your pump for repairs (Service see backside of this manual),
we would kindly ask you to tell us the media being delivered. Our Service engineer needs to be
