Installing the device
Ensure sufficient ventilation when installing the device and
assembling the mixer with other equipment. Never cover the ven-
tilation holes.
Never place the product on soft surfaces such as, for example, a
carpet or a bed. This hinders the heat extraction from the applian-
ce and can lead to overheating (risk of fire!).
Do not drill or screw any additional screws into the housing of the
mixer to fasten the device. This can damage the device.
When setting up the device, make sure that it has a secure footing
on a stable surface as the mixer might injure people if it fell down.
When setting up the appliance, make sure that the connection cable
is not being pinched or damaged by any sharp edges.
Always lay the cables so that no one can trip over or become ent-
angled in them. Caution, risk of injury!
When selecting a place to set up the device, make sure that direct,
intensive sunlight, vibration, dust, heat, cold and moisture are
avoided.
No devices with strong electric or magnetic fields may be located
in the vicinity of the mixer as these can influence the mixer.
Such devices are: transformers, motors, cordless telephones,
radios, PC´s, etc.
Due to the large variety of paints and polishes used for furniture, it cannot be
ruled out that the feet of the appliance may leave visible marks on the furnitu-
re. For this reason, protect the furniture surface appropriately when placing
the appliance on valuable furniture.
The mixer is suitable for installation in a desk and as a table device. For fastening
when mounting on a desk, there are the 4 fastening holes in the upper covering
board.

MASTER FADER
Mit diesem Regler wird der Pegel an den MASTER Ausgängen eingestellt.
Regler in Stellung "0" = minimaler Pegel,
Regler in Stellung "10" = maximaler Pegel.

ZONE Regler
Der ZONE Regler dient zum Mischen eines separaten Ausgangssignals an der ZONE
CINCH Buchse. Eine Veränderung am MASTER FADER beeinflusst das Signal an der
ZONE CINCH Buchse nicht.

EFFEKT SELECT/START Tasten
Mit diesen Tasten wird der Effekt im CORSSFADER EFFEKT Modus gewählt. Es kön-
nen 3 Effekte ausgewählt werden (Echo, Zip und Roll). Siehe dazu Punkt 16.

EFFEKT MIX SELECTOR Schalter
Mit diesem Schalter kann der CROSSFADER EFFEKT Modus eingeschaltet werden.
OFF :
CROSSFADER EFFEKT Modus ist deaktiviert. CROSSFADER arbeitet
im Normalbetrieb.
FADER:
Beim Überblenden mit dem CROSSFADER von Seite A auf B (oder
umgekehrt) wird der mit den EFFEKT SELECT/START Tasten gewählte
Soundeffekt zugemischt.
AUTO:
Alle EFFEKT SELECT/START Tasten leuchten. Sobald eine der Tasten
gedrückt wird, wird unter Zumischen des Effekts automatisch von der
Seite A auf B (oder umgekehrt) übergeblendet ohne das dazu der
CROSSFADER betätigt werden muss. Es erfolgt ebenso der FADER
START der angeschlossenen CD Player, wenn diese Funktion aktiviert
wurde.
Um die CROSSFADER EFFEKT Funktion zu verwenden, muss der
Crossfaderseite A oder B über den CROSSFADER ASSIGN Taster A
und/oder B mindestens ein Kanal zugewiesen worden sein.
(17) CUE MIXING Regler
Mit dem CUE MIXING Regler wird der Anteil des CUE Signals (vorgewählt über die
Tasten 21 und 39) oder des Ausgangssignals (MASTER) am Kopfhörerausgang ein-
gestellt.
In Mittelstellung wird über den Kopfhörer das CUE Signal und das Ausgangssignal
wiedergegeben.
Wird der Regler in Stellung "CUE" gedreht, wird das CUE Signal am Kopfhörer wie-
dergegeben.
Wird der Regler in Stellung "PGM" gedreht, wird das Ausgangssignal am Kopfhörer
wiedergegeben.
