2. Gather assembled drip emitter with upper trickler hose at the top of fully inflated TR feature.
Note which side of the TR feature has trickler pocket built-in. On Freefall Supreme TR, trickler
pocket is on climber's right side.
3. There are 2 double-overlocking Velcro flaps located on the Freefall Supreme TR top beam, just
above the slider's head. Prepare for drip emitter installation by opening both of these flaps and
folding them back. An extra set of hands may help to keep them open. Correctly orient assembled
drip emitter to the TR feature, making sure to align the hose side of emitter toward the trickler
pocket (climber's right side). Apply the Velcro of the emitter pocket to the exposed Velcro on
the top beam, starting at one side and working across. Once alignment is confirmed, close the
overlocking flaps to capture the drip emitter.
4. Next, prepare to feed open end of upper trickler hose through Freefall Supreme TR trickler
pocket. Open all Velcro access patches to expose several segments of trickler pocket. Push the
open end of trickler hose (no fittings installed) into trickler pocket using a forward twisting motion.
When progress slows, work hand down outside of pocket to help straighten hose. Adding an
occasional trickle of water into pocket may help. Once trickler hose reaches the next Velcro access
patch, pull all hose slack downward, leaving just enough hose at top to comfortably reach drip
emitter. Make certain there are no twists in the hose that might cause a kink and reduce water flow.
5. Repeat process initiated in Step 5 to continue feeding trickler hose downward through all trickler
pocket segments, pulling out slack at each access patch. While pulling slack, reverse the twist
direction used to push hose downward. This helps ensure there are no twists that might cause a
kink. Once confirmed, close each Velcro access patch and move down to the next segment until
the trickler hose has been fed to the waterline, with all slack and twists removed.
6. Install the female hose fitting at the open end of the upper trickler hose. Slip one stainless hose
clamp over the trickler hose end, then press the hose barb side of the fitting into the hose as far
as possible. Slide hose clamp over hose and barb fitting. Use screwdriver to tighten securely. Use
tape provided to wrap hose clamp several times, completely covering sharp edges and gaps.
7. The lower trickler hose (100ft [30m]) should come from the factory with a male hose fitting
installed on one end and a hose shut-off on the other end. Connect the male fitting of the lower
hose to the female fitting of the upper hose by threading the fittings together until secure. This
connection, just below the waterline, is an easy place to disconnect the trickler hose when the
main feature needs to be moved.
8. The lower trickler hose comes from the factory with a hose shut-off fitting installed on the
remaining end. The hose shut-off terminates in a female ¾" (NH14TPI) fitting. Connect this fitting
to your water source. This can be supplied by a garden hose, or by a Monsoon system using
optional Inline Monsoon Tee.
If your water supply comes from garden hose and the ¾" (NH14TPI) fitting does not match the
type of fitting used in your country, you may want to substitute a different fitting in this location.
NOTE: Depending on the specifics of your park layout, once you have confirmed the length of
hose required to supply trickler you may wish to trim excess hose length. This can be done by
trimming the long (lower) trickler hose to length and reworking the end fitting. In this case, use
screwdriver to securely re-tighten hose clamp, and use tape provided to wrap hose clamp several
times, completely covering sharp edges and gaps.
9. Once water system has been fully pressurized, adjust water flow to trickler using lever on shut
off valve.
NOTE: It may be convenient to use a small buoy or lift line to locate and raise trickler shut-off valve
for adjustment and maintenance. Lift line may be positioned beneath other aquapark features for
easy access.
