Inflatable Products – Aquaglide makes some of the highest quality inflatable products in
the world. With proper care and maintenance, our products are expected to last for years
under normal use. We list important tips and instructions below. If unsure about any point,
please reach us through our website at Aquaglide.com/contact-us.
Trickler Setup: This Trickler Kit is an optional accessory for passively wetting down the slide
during use. Continual water flow helps keep slide surfaces cool and slippery, improving the user
experience.
Freefall Supreme Trickler Kit designed to provide irrigation only for the Freefall Supreme TR,
and may not fit other main features even if they are Trickler Ready.
The Trickler Kit is best installed on a fully inflated main feature. Trickler Kits are not
interchangeable, and should only be used on the main feature they have been designed for.
Trickler Kit assembly and installation is best done prior to launch, with the main feature fully
inflated and positioned on flat, stable ground near the water. Installation can also be done
with the main feature on the water, but may be more challenging.
Helpful Tools: A few common tools may be helpful for assembly and installation:
Scissors
Small File (or medium grit sandpaper)
Screwdriver - Phillips Head, medium
Step ladder - 3m (9ft) *optional
Water - bottle or cup *optional
Water Supply: Before Trickler Kit installation, take some time to consider the water supply
and specifics of your park layout. Some additional supplies may be needed depending on
your setup.
One Aquaglide Trickler uses approximately 1-3 gal/min (4-12 L/min) and can be supplied by:
Garden hose with connection to most residential/ commercial water supplies, or
Aquaglide Monsoon System
Residential/ Commercial Water Supply
Operating Trickler Kit using a garden hose and a standard residential/ commercial water
supply can be fairly simple.
Each Trickler Kit includes 30m (100ft) length of 12mm (1/2") ID reinforced polyurethane hose
extending from the bottom of the main feature. You will need to measure and supply enough
additional garden hose to reach your water supply. Aquaglide has tested this system with
hose length up to 90m (300ft) length with no noticeable issues, however, additional hose
length does adds friction to the system, reducing water supply.
Each Trickler Kit includes several hose barb fittings with threaded connections for ¾"
(NH14TPI) garden hose. We suggest using most or all of these fittings. Depending on the
type of garden hose connections used in your country, you may want to replace the last
fitting with one that most easily connects with your country's common format. Hose fittings
designed for 12mm (1/2") ID hose are typically available for nominal cost where garden
hoses and supplies are sold.
Depending on variables (hose length, water depth, available pressure, etc.) a single garden
hose supply can normally be branched to feed up to 4 Tricklers or more with plumbing/
hose fittings typically found where garden supplies are sold. These fittings, and additional
supply hose will vary by user and are not included with the Trickler Kit. See A for Single
Trickler, and B for Multiple Trickler installation from standard water supply.
