Light signals
There is a signal lamp in the outer fitting. The signals and their meanings are
explained in the following table.

Overload coupling (Premium variant)
Attention!
Risk of destruction due to striking of the handle: The fitting can be destroyed if
the handle strikes against the wall. The risk is avoided by installing a door stopper.
Overload coupling can release: The overload coupling is released when
∙ one handle is blocked and
∙ the other handle is actuated by force.
The overload coupling remains permanently released.
Engage the overload coupling again:
1 Remove the blockage of the door handle.
2 Actuate the handle several times properly.
� The overload coupling engages again.
� The fitting is now operational again.
Meaning
ID media successfully read or key
sequence recognised/accepted.
Door can be opened.
Door cannot be opened.
The battery is heavily depleted, bat-
tery replacement required.
The battery is empty, battery re-
placement required.
