Intended use
The electronic door fitting series E... is suitable for all commercially-available doors
with mechanical locks.
The electronic door fitting series E... is a security fitting for doors of Use category 2
according to DIN 1906. It has been developed, designed, and manufactured for a
moderate actuation frequency by persons with greater incentive to be careful,
but from which a certain risk of incorrect use can be assumed - such as inner
office doors.
The electronic door fitting series E... Premium is a security fitting for doors of Use
category 3 according to 1906 and is suitable for use in escape doors and fire
doors. It has been developed, designed, and manufactured for frequent use by the
general public or other persons in situations when there is little incentive to be
careful and a high risk of incorrect use can be assumed - such as outer office doors
for public use.
The device is suitable for installation according to the installation instructions and
use according to the functional description.
It is not intended for any other type of use.
