Explanation of terms
Description
The lock pocket is the recess in the door for the mounting plate of the
mortise lock.
The ID media is normally a chip or a chip card, such as an RFID card. The

A hub is a network connection through which multiple devices are con-
nected to a data network.
The outer fitting is fastened on the side of the door which should only be
opened with ID media or the input of a PIN.
The mounting plate is screwed on with the outer fitting. The battery
compartment and security-related electronics are located on the
mounting plate.
The inner fitting is fastened on the door side which should be opened
without ID media.
The handle pin is a square pin which is guided through the follower and
ends in the door handle.
