Cleaning the monitor, control unit
and keyboard
The user should clean the terminal on a regular basis.
■ Before cleaning is commenced, the power supply
! plug must be disconnected.
The external surfaces of the unit need only be wiped
with a dry cloth or duster.
If the surface has become badly soiled, it may be neces
sary to use a cloth which has been immersed in a solu
tion of luke-warm water containing a little mild deter
gent, and then carefully wrung out.

The keytops can be cleaned using proprietary disinfec
tant wipes, as available from any drugstore.
These should not be in contact with the keys for
■ longer than 5 minutes, and on no account should you
! leave them lying on the surface of the unit.
The CRT may be cleaned using a soft, lint-free cloth that
has been slightly moistened, and then dried with a soft
cloth.
