Setting the SIDA operating
parameters
In the SIDA setting mode, you can set operating
parameters to your own requirements via the keyboard:
• In the format mode: the contrast of the reduced inten
sity display,
• Audible warning on/off,
• The keyboard and character set variants: interna
tional, German, Belgian, French, Swedish and
Swiss.
The terminal is supplied with German keyboard
assignment and character set.

SIDA setting mode
To initiate the SIDA setting mode:
□ Press the keys
The monitor displays the SIDA menu.
□ Select the appropriate code by pressing one of the
[T]
keys
through
The function selected is displayed using inverse
video.
The setting mode can be canceled with the key I
■ If no entry is made for a period of 2 minutes, the SIDA
! setting mode will be canceled automatically.
