The device indicator line is the separate, bottom line of
the screen.
It is activated:
• in the basic status, following startup.
It incorporates a number of indicators in the form of
abbreviations which
• are lit
• are extinguished, or
• flash
thereby signaling the operating statuses of
• the terminal
• the devices connected to it and
• the data communication line
and also indicate the occurrence of errors.
