INSTALLATION TIPS

The following installation example shows the installation of an ESX Smart Naviceiver in a
Fiat Ducato IV model. Due to the many different equipment variants of the Ducato / Boxer /
Jumper platform, the installation conditions shown may differ from your vehicle.
Removing the original radio / navigation device *
First remove the original radio / navigation
device. Use suitable unlocking tools to pull
the device out of the radio slot.
Remove the storage compartments if no original device * is installed.
Remove the lower storage compartment in
the radio slot with pliers.

Then pull the cable plug from the original
device and leave it accessible in the radio
slot.
Then pull the upper storage compartment
out of the radio slot.
