8  Commissioning
8.1.2 Configuration using the web app via
Ethernet
1.
Connect the Ethernet cable with a network
switch or server.
2.
The Wallbox is configured to DHCP (auto-
matic IP address assignment) when deli-
vered.
If the network settings do not match, disable
automatic IP address assignment.
Enter the network IP address manually.
8.2 Logging into the Wallbox
1.
Select the appropriate language and confirm
with Next.
2.
Get the password for the Service user from
the access data letter, see
Access
3.
In the Login view select the Service user
role, enter the corresponding password and
confirm.
Note
Ensure that the access data (password and
host name) is spelt completely correctly,
paying particular attention to capitalisation.
After five incorrect password entries, there
is a delay before you can make another att-
empt.
After successful login, the Overview screen for
the Wallbox is displayed, showing a compact view
of the most important operating statuses and
measured values.

The Wallbox must be configured when logging in
for the first time or when logging in after a factory
reset, see
Configuring the
Wallbox.
8.3 Configuring the Wallbox
Note
The country setting in the web app may be a
legally relevant setting, depending on the local
country law. It is therefore necessary to select the
correct country during configuration.
An incorrect configuration can lead to a violation
of country-specific requirements and the loss of
the operating license.
Selecting the country
1.
Select the appropriate country from the list
in which the Wallbox is permanently instal-
led.

The country code can only be reset to the fac-
tory settings later using the rotary switch,

If required, change the units.
3.
Confirm the selection with Next.
Configuring software updates
The software for the Wallbox can be updated
using an update server.
If required, the following options can be set for
the configuration.
1.
Select one of the following options for the
automatic software update:
n
Download update automatically
(default setting)
Enabled: The software checks for
available updates and they are dow-
nloaded automatically.
Disabled: The software checks for
available updates and displays a mes-
sage. The download then has to be star-
ted manually.
n
Automatically install update
Enabled: If a software update has been
downloaded, the Wallbox installs it
automatically. This can lead to a char-
ging process being interrupted.
Disabled: The installation can be
delayed until a later time. Installation
of a software update is only started
when requested by the user.
2.
Confirm the selection with Next.

Agree to the disclaimer and confirm with
Next.
After successful configuration, the Wallbox is
ready for use.
Enabling charging according to German cali-
bration law
Prerequisite
An OCPP connection has been established.
If no OCPP connection has been established,
select the menu icon. On the Connections
screen, select OCPP.

On the Charging management screen,
select Energy meter.
