8  Commissioning
7.7 Inserting the SIM card (optional)
A SIM card is required for an LTE connection.

Insert the SIM card in the corresponding slot
on the top of the circuit board (COM board)
with the contacts pointing downwards. See
figure 17.
7.8 Fitting the cover
1.
Insert and cover with integrated foam seal
and push securely into place. See figure 18.
2.
Secure with 4 screws (5x22) tightened to a
torque of 3-3.5 Nm (1). Additionally for the
version with a socket, use 3 screws (5x22)
to screw the folding cover on the socket (2).

Attaching the operator's seal (version accor-
ding to German calibration law)
1.
Clean the surface thoroughly. It must be
free of grease and dust.
2.
Seal one of the screws (2) on the cover
using the operator's seal supplied. See
figure 18.
Note
The manufacturer's and operator's seal must not
be damaged. Otherwise the official calibration con-
formity is void.
Attaching the lock/lead seal

Either attach the lead seal to the clip or fit
the lock. See figure 19.
Attaching the decorative cover
1.
Hook in the clips of the decorative cover at
the top (1) and press firmly onto the housing
(2) until the they audibly engage. See
figure 20.
2.
Secure the decorative cover from below with
a screw (4x13) to a torque of
1.2-2 Nm. See figure 20.
Attaching the QR code (version according to
German calibration law)
If supplied, otherwise proceed to step
missioning.
1.
Clean the surface thoroughly. It must be
free of grease and dust.
2.
Attach the QR code sticker to the side of the
Wallbox on a flat surface.
The QR code sticker contains the link to the
Wallbox documentation, the certificates and
the declaration of conformity.
8 Commissioning
Note
All of the activities described in these
assembly and installation instruc-
tions may only be performed by a
qualified electrical engineer.
DANGER
Risk of injury due to RFID sensor for per-
sons with cardiac pacemaker or defibrillator
n
If you use a cardiac pacemaker, maintain a
distance of at least 60 cm from the RFID sen-
sor on the front panel.
n
If you use a defibrillator, maintain a distance
of at least 40 cm from the RFID sensor on
the front panel.
During initial commissioning before handover to a
non-qualified person and at the specified main-
tenance intervals, a test complying with DIN VDE
0100 or the applicable national regulations must
be carried out by an electrical engineer.
When delivered, the Wallbox is configured so that
Free-Charging (charging without authentication)
is possible. To use all functions of the Wallbox, the
service configuration must be performed (see
Com-
forming the service
Note
For production reasons, the reading on the inte-
grated energy meter is not at 0 kWh.
8.1 Performing the service con-
figuration
ATTENTION
Wallbox with errors
A Wallbox with active errors is not fully functional.
There is an active error if the operating status LED
(4) is lit in red, yellow or blue.
Note
The service configuration may also be performed
by a qualified person with IT knowledge.
Note
The service configuration should be carried out
when not connected to a vehicle.
Switching on the Wallbox
The Wallbox is switched on as soon as the power
supply is connected.
The LEDs light up in turn as follows:
All LEDs red for one second

All LEDs white for one second
n
Charge level LED and error status LED white
All other LEDs are not lit.
