TRANSLATION (USER) MANUAL
Manual hydraulic press for electrical terminals
NOTE: READ THIS MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE
POWER TOOL AND KEEP IT FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
PURPOSE
The hydraulic press is a hand tool designed for medium-duty
installation work. The tool has a very wide range of applications
thanks to the large range of dies and inserts that work with the press.
The press is characterised by simple operation and high reliability. It
perfectly fulfils its tasks both during work in assembly halls and in the
field. It makes it possible to work in any position. The force required to
perform a given operation is transmitted to the tool through a system
of levers and hydraulics, making the operation quick and requiring
limited effort from the operator.
SPECIFIC SAFETY PROVISIONS
• This equipment must not be used by children and persons with
reduced physical or mental capabilities or lack of familiarity with the
equipment if supervision or instruction is provided on how to use the
equipment safely so that the associated risks are understood.

Children should not play with the equipment. Unsupervised children
should not carry out cleaning and maintenance of the equipment.
• It is essential to read the instruction manual before starting the tool.
• Use the device only for its intended purpose.
• Make sure that the dies fit exactly into the crimping range and that
they sit perfectly in the holders.
• The tool should not be disassembled or modified in any way.
• Protect the device (press, crimp dies, inserts) from weathering,
corrosion, contamination and mechanical damage. If the device gets
wet, it must be dried; if the device gets dirty, it must be cleaned.
Ensure clean and as dry as possible storage conditions when the
unit is not in use for a long period of time. Periodically maintain with
preparations such as: Vaseline, WD-40.
• Products should only be used on cables where no current is present
• No objects other than those for which the tool is intended, as well
as fingers, hands or other parts of the body, may be inserted into
the working space while working.

EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES
Hydraulic manual press for crimping electrical terminals and wire rope,
crimping jaw size 16, 25, 35, 50, 70, 95, 120, 150, 185, 240, 300 mm²,
hexogenous crimping type, carbon steel body, equipped with: split
crimping die, rotating cylinder head, stop pin for blocking the dies, piston,
main cylinder valve, ergonomic handles, movable cylinder arm.
PREPARATION FOR WORK
DIE REMOVAL / INSERTION
• Pull out the stop pin (1)
• Insert the appropriate die (3) into the head (7) and secure with the
pin (1).
CRIMPING LUGS AND CONNECTORS
• Select the correct connector for the cable (the cable should have as
little play as possible in the cylindrical part of the connector or fitting
before crimping.
• Select the correct crimping die for the terminal to be crimped and
the conductor cross-section. (3)
• Remove the insulation from the wire or cord, at a length that allows
the wire to be inserted into the cylindrical part of the terminal or
connector.
