Please note the following:
• The documentation supplied with the delivery of the device (Operating Instructions etc.) must also be observed in addition to these Installation Instructions.
• Mounting, repair, commissioning and maintenance of the measuring points, must only be carried out by properly qualified and trained technical staff.
• Risk of damaging electronic components (ESD protection)!
Electrostatic discharge can damage or impair electronic components. Use a workplace with a grounded working surface purposely built for electrostatically sensitive
devices and make sure that you are grounded with a ground cable before coming into contact with electronic modules.
• Observe all safety instructions (Warning!, Caution!, Note!) before starting the individual mounting steps. Document the procedure in the boxes (

Exposed components carry dangerous voltages. Make sure that the power supply is switched off before you remove the cover of the electronics compartment.

Removing and installing electronics/seal
When the electronics are replaced, the complete transmitter (housing, electronics module
and seal) is changed.

1. Switch off power supply.

2. Disconnect cable connector (1).
❑
3. Release hexagonal-headed bolts (2) and remove transmitter
incl. electronics module (3).
❑
4. Check seal for damage. Remove seal (6) with a small screw driver and replace it.

Caution!

5. Detach M-DAT (4) and insert into the new electronics module. This transfers

the process and sensor parameters to the new transmitter.

6. Mount new transmitter incl. electronics module.
❑
7. Assembly is the reverse of the removal procedure.

8. Switch on power supply.
