INSTALLATION
Initial start-up
f Hand-tighten the connection pipes to the connections of the
hot water boiler using the silicone seal rings and the union
nuts.
f With a spanner, apply a small amount of torque to tighten
the union nuts of the compression fittings to the tap body.
On a bath – MED-D only
f Screw the spout together with silicone seal ring onto the tap
body until finger-tight.
f Screw the retainer for the hand shower together with silicone
seal ring onto the spout until finger-tight.
f Screw the hose together with silicone seal ring onto the re-
tainer for the hand shower until finger-tight.
f Screw the hand shower together with silicone seal ring onto
the hose until finger-tight.
On a shower – MED-D only
f Screw the retainer for the hand shower, together with sili-
cone seal ring onto the tap body until finger-tight.
f Screw the hose together with silicone seal ring onto the re-
tainer for the hand shower until finger-tight.
f Screw the hand shower together with silicone seal ring onto
the hose until finger-tight.

Initial start-up
f Isolate the hot water boiler from the power supply.
f Unscrew the aerator from the spout.
f Set the tap lever to "cold".
f Draw off water until it runs free of bubbles and debris.
f Set the tap lever to "hot" and draw off water until it runs free
of bubbles and debris. This may take up to two minutes.
f Turn off the tap.
f Screw the aerator onto the spout until finger-tight.
f Check all connections for tightness.
f Connect the hot water boiler to the power supply.
