The following parts are required to connect your Cruise system to a remote steering
system:
Remote steering system (not included in the scope of delivery).
Jointed rod (9) (included in the scope of delivery) to connect the remote steering
system to the aluminium cage on the switch head.
Installation material.
1. Connect the remote steering system to the guide tube (12) by sliding the push
rod of the remote steering system through the guide tube (12), and fixing it us-
ing the metal union nut (11) of the remote steering system.
2. Push the bent end of the jointed rod (9) into the drilling of the push rod of your
remote steering system.
3. Tighten the connection using the nut provided for this purpose.
4. Attach the other end of the jointed rod (9) to the drilling in the aluminium cage.
For this, push in the bolt (2) from above through the drilling in the aluminium
cage, and fix this from underneath using a bolt (5). Secure the bolt (5) using Loc-
tite 243.
5. Connect the remaining parts of your remote steering system as per the manufac-
turer's instructions.
