Setting the number of DMX channels and the DMX starting address
For operation with a controller with DMX512 protocol, the device is equipped with 11 control channels.
However, it can also be switched to a mode with 3, 4, 6 or 8 channels, if different functions are required. To
be able to operate the device with a DMX controller, the device must be set to "Slave" via the Control Board.
In addition, the DMX starting address must be set. The starting address depends upon which DMX controller
is being used. Please refer to the controller's documentation.
1 Press the MENU button so many times until MASTSLAV is indicated on the display. Confirm with the
ENTER button. Set Slave with the UP and DOWN buttons. Confirm with the ENTER button.
2 Press the MENU button so many times until "DMX Chan" is indicated on the display. Confirm with the
ENTER button.
3 The display indicates 6 CH (6 DMX channels) or 3 CH (3 DMX channels), 4 CH (4 DMX channels), 8 CH
(8 DMX channels) or 11 CH (11 DMX channels). Use the buttons UP and DOWN to select the desired
DMX channel mode. Confirm with the ENTER button.
4 Press the button MENU in order to return to the main menu.
5 Press the MENU button so many times until "DMX Addr" is indicated on the display. Confirm with the
ENTER button.
6 Use the buttons UP and DOWN to set the address. Confirm with the ENTER button.
7 Press the button MENU in order to return to the main menu.
