4.4 Caring for the dishwasher
After every wash
After every wash, leave the door slightly open for some time
so that moisture and odors are not trapped inside.
Seals
One of the factors that cause odours to form in the dish-
washer is food that remains trapped in the seals. Periodic
cleaning with a damp sponge will prevent this from occur-
ring.
Maintenance
During use of the dishwasher, deposits of dirt or limescale
may form which can signifi cantly affect the operation of the
appliance.
To prevent this, observe the following instructions:
• Always ensure that the salt container is suffi ciently full
and that the correct dosage setting is used according to
your water hardness (see relevant section).
• Clean the appliance components regularly as described
before.
We recommend additional cleaning of the appliance with a
commercial machine cleaner for dishwashers according to
the manufacturer's instructions every 1-3 months.
