a) Read all the instructions
b) Do not let children stay near pressure cookers when they are being used.
c) Never put the pressure cooker into a hot oven.
d) Move the pressure cooker very carefully when it is under pressure. Never touch the hot surfa-
ces. Always use the handles. If necessary, use oven gloves.
e) Never use the pressure cooker for any purpose other the one for which it is intended.
f) This appliance cooks under pressure. Improper use of the pressure cooker can cause
scalding. Make sure the pressure cooker is closed properly before applying heat. See the
"Instructions for Use".
g) Never force the pressure cooker open. Do not open it until you are sure that the pressure insi-
de has been completely released. See the "Instructions for Use".
h) Never use the pressure cooker without adding water, otherwise it will be damaged seriously.
i) Never fill the cooker to more than 2/3 of its capacity. When cooking items of food that can
expand during cooking, such as rice or dehydrated vegetables, do not fill the cooker to more
than half of its capacity.
j) Use appropriate heat source(s), according to the instructions for use.
k) After cooking meat with skin (e.g., ox tongue) that might swell under the effects of pressure,
never prick the meat while the skin is still swollen, or you could get scalded.
l) When cooking pasty food, gently shake the pot before opening the lid to avoid the food
splashing out.
m) Always check that the valves are not clogged up before using the cooker. See the "Instruc-
tions for Use".
n) Never use the pressure cooker under pressure to fry food in abundant oil.
o) Never tamper with any of the safety systems unless performing maintenance as specified in
the instructions for use.
p) Only use the manufacturer's spare parts for the model in question. In particular, use a body
and a lid made by the same manufacturer and that are listed as being compatible.
