Intended use
testo magnet tester
The
valve function in oil burners quickly and efficiently. It
can also be used as a pocket torch.
Operation
Carry out a function test prior to using the
Function test / Pocket torch
1 Push ring up to the end of the instrument.
2 Turn ring until torch lights up.
- If the torch is not working, check batteries and bulb and replace
if required.
3 Push the ring towards the torch end until it can go no further.
Magnet tester
(Fig. 2)
1 Move ring toward the torch end until it can go no further.
2 Hold magnet tester as shown in Fig. 2 and, with the burner swit-
ched on, apply to the solenoid in the pump or the solenoid valve.
- Lamp lights: valve is in working order.
Lamp does not light: check valve.
Changing the batteries
1 Unscrew screw cap and remove empty batteries.
Please dispose of empty batteries and defect rechargeable
batteries carefully.
2 Put in new batteries (2x 1.5V, Micro, Type AAA).
Check polarity!
3 Screw on screw cap again.
