SYSTEM CHECK
REGULAR CHECKS
a Your ALPRIDE avalanche backpack requires no
maintenance but the following points have to be
observed:
1. Deploy the airbag before the new season
starts or at least once a year or after the
backpack has been exposed to moisture /
wet weather. Check its condition, allow it to
dry and fold it back together again.
2. Pack the airbag away only when it is
completely dry.
3. Prior to every tour, check all the points
described in this user manual and inspect
the condition of the system's safety straps
and fastenings.
Practice deploying the airbag so you have a
feel for the amount of force you need to apply.
In the event of a real avalanche, you will then
be able to deploy it correctly and intuitively.

MAINTENANCE
HOW TO REMOVE THE DETACHABLE AIRBAG SYSTEM
1
TURN OFF THE SYSTEM, OPEN THE ZIPPER ON THE
AIRBAG AND UNHOOK THE 5 HOOKS.
