Operation:
• Regularly inspect the ilter unit if it is damaged.
• Do not use the ilter unit if the ilter is missing or damaged. Contaminated air from the blow out piece is harmful!
The ilter unit cannot function properly, if it is used with a missing or damaged ilter.
• The filter unit must be protected from humidity and moisture.
• Be careful that no objects for example welding wire or cleansing towels will enter the intake or blow out openings.
• Protect the connection cable from heat, oil and damage caused by sharp edges.
• Do not move the filter unit by pulling the intake hose or connection cable.
• Keep the direction of welding smoke in mind, when placing the intake hose.
• Beware of using the filter unit, if parts are defective, missing or damaged.
• The air leaving the blow out grid may not be blocked by objects.
• Beware of using the filter unit, if the intake openings are closed or if the intake hose/s are clogged.
• The ventilation slits of the device must not be obstructed or covered by objects.
The device must be set up with a minimum clearance of 20 cm between the ventilation port and, for example, an adjacent wall.
• Do not use the filter unit if the intake openings or extraction hoses are obstructed or covered by objects
Cleaning/Maintenance/Reparation:
• Unplug the unit before opening it.
• Use only original ilter cells and replacements.
• Dispose ilter cells as required by law.
• Wear protective clothing if needed.
• Be carful that no dust enters the air of the working area.

2.4 Intended application

The ilter unit is used to extract welding smoke from a point-shaped area. For this purpose the unit is equipped with a lexible exhaust arm (see
separate instruction manual of the exhaust arm). The pollutants are extracted by an extraction hood and are transported via the exhaust arm to
the ilter unit. Thanks to the replaceable ilter element even the smallest smoke particles are iltered. The puriied air is exhausted by a fan and is
then redirected into the working area.
The SINOtec high-vacuum extraction and ilter unit is preferably used to exhaust and ilter welding smoke, which is generated when the
electrode-welding method is applied. In general the unit can be used for any working methods, which generate harmful particles, such as smoke
and dust. Be careful not to let sparks (e.g. from a grinding process) enter the ilter unit.
The ilter unit must only be used for the intended purpose. Misuse can result in health risks and / or damage
to the unit.
• Do not use the ilter unit to exhaust inlammable substances, aggressive or explosive gases and dusts such as aluminium or wood dust etc.
• Do not exhaust moist steam.
• Do not exhaust aggressive substances.
• Do not exhaust any kind of liquid.
• Do not exhaust organic substances.
• Do not exhaust inlammable or glowing substances such as cigarettes, matches, metallic dust or iling, paper, cleansing towels etc.
• Do not exhaust sparks (e.g. from a grinding process).
When carcinogenic welding smoke is exhausted such as nickel or chrome containing material, it is necessary
to adhere to the TRGS 560 (recirculation of air when using carcinogenic substances).

2.5 Improper use

If the unit is used other than described in chapter 2.4, the guarantee will get invalid and the manufacturer is no longer liable. It is considered as
improper use, if the unit is used when it is damaged, if there are parts missing or damaged as well as if the unit is modiied in a mechanical or
electrical way.
