2. Safety

To prevent accidents please note the following safety information. Only if followed correctly injuries, damage to property or machines can be
avoided.

2.1 Safety symbols

The safety symbols as shown below show in this manual the activities and circumstances of potential risk. It is important to follow the safety
precautions as recommended. Not following the safety precautions may lead to damage to persons or machines.
Attention, general safety information
Take notice of the notes which follow the symbol.
Warning of high voltage
This work may only be carried out by qualiied staff.
Warning of hot surface
Risk of burning or scalding. Non adherence could result in damage to persons.
Non adherence to the instructions in this manual can result in serious injuries, damage or modiication of the product or even in life threatening
situations and can also result in losing the claims for damages.

2.2 General safety information

In order to be protected from electrical shocks, risk of injuries and ire danger, when using electrical devices,
it is important to adhere to the safety information.
• Please read the instruction manual carefully. Only use the ilter unit if you have understood each chapter.
• Store the instruction manual accessible to the user.
• Please also take notice of the legal regulations, to prevent accidents and to respect the environment.

2.3 Special safety information

Transportation:
• The ilter unit can only be transported vertically and must be protected from shocks and moisture.
• When transported, a suitable packing is inevitable in order to avoid damage to the unit.
Commissioning:
• Insure that there is no damage to the ilter unit and the connection cable.
• Make sure that the unit is standing safely and that the brakes on the steering rollers are set.
• Make sure to use the correct connection voltage. In case of doubt consult an authorised electrician.
• Take notice of the information on the type plate.
A wrong connection could lead to a defect ilter unit and its components. Therefore it is necessary to follow the
instructions on the type plate. In case of doubt consult an authorised electrician.
