Problem
There is less coffee in the jug than
expected.
The On/Off button of my Philips
Café Gourmet is blinking
The on/off button will usually blink
when there is no water in the water
tank for brewing. This causes the
protection to be activated. To solve this,
please follow the steps below.
Solution
• Make sure you place the jug properly on the hotplate. If
the jug is not placed properly on the hotplate, the drip
stop prevents the coffee from flowing out of the filter.
Reset the appliance and add water.
• There is no water in the water tank for brewing and that
activates the overheat protection and causes the button
to blink.
Follow the steps below to reset your Café Gourmet:

Unplug the appliance.

Cool down around 30 minutes.

Plug it in again.

Press the on/off button to switch on the appliance, the
light in the on/off button lights up.

Make sure to add water before brewing.
Always clean the water tank after the appliance cools
down.
• After brewing, small amount of water may remain in the
water tank. Wipe the water tank with a clean and soft
cloth after the appliance cools down.
