Vofe (12.5 KHz) _
If the levels between Vf; (250 Hz) and Vofs (12.5 kHz) at
©D1 and © D2 differ by more than + 1.5 dB cut the bridges
B1 (C101), B2 (C103) left channel, or the bridges B3
(C102), B4 (C104) right channel.

Vof; (250 Hz)
With the level control (RECORD LEVEL) set the level at the
test points © D1 and © D2 during recording to 120 mV.
On playing back the recording made on the cassette
recorder, a voltage level of 120 mV + 0.5 dB must be
present at the test points © D1 and © D2.
If the level differs from the value above re-adjust the head
current control R169 (left channel) or R182 (right channel)
during recording.
When recording on Fe IEC I-cassettes the voltage must be
120 mV + 1 GB.
With the level control (RECORD LEVEL) set the level at the
test points © D1 and © D2 during recording to V, = 20 mV.
When playing back the recording the levels at the test
points © D1 and © D2 must not differ by more than 0.5 dB.
If Vofo to Vof; is higher than 0.5 dB correct the bias.
Re-adjust with R245 left channel, or R246 right channel.

The bias voltage depends on the type of tape and the
frequency response setting.
Adjustment range:
Fe
= 10 - 15 mV approx.
CrOz
= 20 - 25 mV approx.
With the level control (RECORD LEVEL) set the level atthe
test points © D1 and © D2 during recording to Vo =
388 mV.
Distortion analyzer to LINE OUT L or LINE OUT R sockets
(47 kQ termination).
