10. TROuBLESHOOTINg

Fault
No display, radio does
not respond to com-
mands
Operation via remote
control is not possible
Poor DAB+ reception
Poor FM reception
Alarm clock does not
work properly
Possible cause and solution
Connect the device to the mains using
the power supply unit which is supplied
with the radio.
Batteries empty or positioned incorrectly.
Please check if the battery is installed in
the correct direction.
Check that the protective film has been
removed from the battery compartment.
Replace the battery of the remote
control (3V button cell); Please note that
when inserting the battery, the positive
terminal of the battery should be facing
the back of the remote control)
Perform a scan (see section 9.1.2)
Antenna is not fully extended Poor loca-
tion Change the location of the radio (if
necessary, move it
closer to the window), perform another
scan
Antenna is not fully extended
Drag the FM antenna to the full length of
Alarm clock does not work properly
