Servicing
The ProDist compact plus is a low-maintenance device.
However, you should follow these simple guidelines to
ensure best possible performance.
1.
Always handle the device carefully. It is an optical
instrument with sensitive electronics.
2.
Avoid exposing the device to shock, continuous
vibration or extremely hot and cold temperatures.
3.
Keep the device indoors at all times. When it is not

in use, always keep the device in its protective hol-
ster.
5.
Keep the device away from dust and moisture. Only
clean the device using a clean and soft cloth. If nee-
ded, use a gentle cleaning agent on the device's sur-
face only.
6.
Never touch the lens with your fingers.
7.
Check the batteries regularly to avoid premature
aging. If you will not be using the device for an exten-
ded period of time, always remove the batteries.
8.
Replace the batteries when the battery charge messa-
ge on the LCD display reads "empty".
9.
Do not disassemble the device under any circum-
stances; doing so can expose the user to hazardous
radiation.
10. Never attempt to modify any part of the laser lens.
