Fitting and installation
Important notes and requirements
Warning! Risk of electric shock and injury!
This appliance may only be installed/connected,
grounded ed and commissioned by a certified electrician
in accordance with the applicable regulations and
standards!
• Make sure that the kitchen furniture intended for installa-
tion of the appliance guarantees sufficient ventilation and
heat radiation!
There must be no rear wall or door or similar on the front
of the built-in niche and the distance between the rear wall
of the appliance and the wall must be at least 45mm.
• The materials of adjacent and surrounding surfaces,
as well as included adhesives, must be fireproof / heat
resistant up to 120°C to exclude deformation of surfaces
or detachment of coatings.
Power connection

Before connecting, check if the voltage indicated on the
rating plate corresponds to the mains voltage.
• The length of the connection cable must be sized so that
the device can be connected prior to insertion.
• The protective conductor must be dimensioned in such a
way that it is only subjected to tensile stress after the live
wires of the connecting cable, if the strain relief fails.
• The installer must ensure that an easily accessible circuit
breaker (fuse) with a contact gap of at least 3 mm is integ-
rated into the appliance's circuit, which complies with the
applicable regulations and ensures complete disconnec-
tion of the appliance from the power supply in the event of
an emergency.
• The appliance is designed for permanent installation with
a three-pole mains cable and is to be connected by the
installer according to the connection diagram shown.
• The mains cable may only be replaced by a qualified elec-
trician in compliance with the applicable regulations.
• Do not use multiple plugs, socket strips or extensions
as there is a risk of fire if they are overloaded.
• The appliance must not be installed directly next to
refrigerators or freezers, as the escaping heat can lead
to unnecessarily high energy consumption and impair
their function.
• At least 2 persons are required for installation.
• To avoid injury, gloves should be worn during assembly
and installation as some components may have sharp
edges.
