CONNECTIONS (Fig. 2)
This unit is designed for 12-volt DC negative ground operation. Check to be sure that your vehi-
cle has this type of system before connecting the power cable.
@® Output RCA Type Connectors (Preout Front)/(Right: RED/Left: WHITE)
RCA type connectors are for connecting to other Amp unit etc. having RCA type input con-
nector.

Output RCA Type Connectors (Preout Rear)/(Right: RED/Left: WHITE)

Input RCA Type Connectors (Aux in)/(Right: RED/Left: WHITE)
RCA type connectors are for connecting the unit to other head unit etc. having RCA type
output connector.
@® Dimmer Control Lead (WHITE/BLUE)
Dimmer Control Lead is for connection with another component featuring auto dimmer.
When connection is made, all dimmers will be synchronized. Leave the lead disconnected
if the Alpine unit is the only component in your system that has auto dimmer.
Audio Interrupt In Lead (PINK/WHITE)
Aux. Power Connector
Connect to other unit.
MAIN POWER Connector
Connect to power supply connector (item 10 below).
Fuse Holder (3A)
Ground Lead (BLACK)
This lead is to be connected to the car chassis securely.
Power Supply Connector
Connect to main power connector (item 7 above).
Remote ON Lead (BLUE/WHITE)
If the unit is connected to your Amp unit with RCA jacks, connect the remote ON lead to the
male connector of the remote ON lead of your amp.
ACC Power Lead (Ignition) (RED)
This lead is to be connected to an ignition terminal in the vehicle's fuse box or a terminal
which develops +12V when the ignition is turned on.
@® Battery Lead (YELLOW)
Connect to the positive (+) side of car battery.
